Mountville Church of the Brethren
Mountville, PA
For the congregation of Mountville Church of the Brethren, a new “welcoming” lobby space from the main parking area was key to the addition and is now the new “front door.” An exterior colonnade with an overhanging canopy created a well-needed vehicular drop-off. Re-design of parking lot created better traffic flow and additional handicapped parking spaces. Accessibility was also improved with the addition of an elevator in the lobby, and renovations created sets of ADA-compliant restrooms on both floors. The office area was relocated which improved daily security; air-conditioning was installed in the Georgian-detailed sanctuary; and, finishes were upgraded in the children’s wing.
Testimonial
“The team did an outstanding job of listening to what we wanted and creatively designing an affordable addition that met all of our perceived needs. They were pleasant to work with and truly sought to make it our project, not theirs. I would heartily recommend Beers and Hoffman to any church considering modifications to their facilities.”
