The couple who own this house do not believe in wasting space, or a missing a great view. This French country style home makes the most of both.

The key challenge of the design was to place the house on a very sloping site. But, this also permitted the opportunity to develop a daylight basement for family use.

Another primary goal was to provide as much natural light by designing the kitchen, dining, and great rooms to face the southeast.  With an exterior of stone and stucco, the main entrance is visible from the street front view and the three car garage is out of view facing northwest.
