Lebanon City Hall Groundbreaking
Lebanon, PA
Lebanon City Mayor Sherry Capello recently arranged a virtual “groundbreaking ceremony“ to honor Lebanon benefactor Frank Dixon. The ceremony formally kicked off the renovation of the Lebanon HACC building to be transformed into a new downtown city hall. Mr. Dixon was unable to attend due to illness. Dixon has been a long-time supporter of HACC, being instrumental in supporting their Lebanon presence.
The idea of bringing the city administration back to the town center has been his hope for years. Consequently, Dixon lent his active support to the vision and efforts of Mayor Sherry Capello to do just that. The Mayor announced that the Council chambers meeting room is to be named in his honor for all he has done to support the historic move. He also was presented a key to the city.
Participating in the event were City of Lebanon, HACC officials, and representatives from Beers + Hoffman, the architects, and Arthur Funk and Sons, the contractors. HACC will retain a presence in a newly renovated third floor.
