Trinity Bible Fellowship Church Dedication
The culmination of a nearly 6-year process, Beers + Hoffman Architecture was pleased to celebrate the dedication of a new family life center with the congregation of Trinity Bible Fellowship Church in Blandon, PA.
Following our selection through a competitive design proposal process, we worked with the church’s building committee to develop a multiphase master plan that addressed their ministry and mission needs. With commitment to addressing their greatest need, the church embarked on a capital campaign to raise the necessary funds to support the construction of an approximately 13,800 SF family life center.
To aid them in their efforts, photo realistic renderings were prepared to engage and encourage the congregation to meet their goals. While the original fellowship space provided an intimate space for the congregation to gather for meals, it did not allow for practical and functional layouts, thus requiring an approximately 2,000 SF renovation of the space. The proposed plan allowed for a 425-seat multipurpose family life center that in addition to providing for round table seating, was designed to include the footprint of a regulation high school basketball court and volleyball court. The regulation basketball court supports an import outreach ministry for the church highlighted by a 3 on 3 tournament every summer.
Following the selection of a design build partner, we were teamed with The Kaiser-Martin Group of Temple, PA to complete the design and construction documents for the initial phase of an overall master plan. Delayed only by the pandemic, the church’s campaign realized their goals and following a groundbreaking just before Christmas 2022, construction began in earnest in early 2023.
Led beautifully by Pastor Dan, the congregation gathered in early September to worship and dedicate their new Family Life Center. Following the ribbon cutting the congregation proceeded to gratefully enter their new facility and comfortably gather as a community and enjoy the first meal prepared in their new kitchen. We were honored to work with the church and their committee and look forward to engaging with them again to complete the later phases of their masterplan including a proposed sanctuary enlargement.
