Westminster Presbyterian Church Fellowship Hall
After completing the multi-phase master plan for the church campus (beginning in 2019), Beers + Hoffman Architecture designed the Fellowship Hall addition, 5,805 SF, to compliment the wonderful historically accurate sanctuary space. Banquet sized accommodations hosting up to 350 guests and a new 1,485 SF kitchen allows larger events for the congregation to be served. For the many weddings that occur in the sanctuary, more church members are anticipated to use this new elegant, larger banquet space for their receptions.
Upon entering the hall, two large sets of Palladian window compositions with views looking over the campus are the focus. The open “hipped” cathedral ceiling adds to the project’s historic geometry, while chandeliers matching those in the sanctuary, and made by the very same craftsman, hang from its ceiling. New sets of larger accessible restrooms were included in this project, along with two new single-use restrooms located near the sanctuary. The library space was relocated in the new layout. A new porte-cochere now accommodates more cars under its larger drive-through roof.
