St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church
Annville, PA
44 years after Funk Construction completed St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, they oversaw the renovation of the sanctuary, nave, and narthex to complete Beers + Hoffman Architecture designs for St. Paul the Apostle Parish project to “Place Christ in the Center of Our Lives”.
This involved the relocation of the tabernacle to its rightful position in the center of the sanctuary. With assistance from Stable Hollow Construction, a new tabernacle altar base was crafted from limestone excavated from the church grounds—the same stone that originally formed the base of the St. Paul statue. Installing the new altar top was one of the final steps in the construction effort.
