Surrounded with clearstory windows providing ample natural light, the welcome/lobby area is a double-height space which achieves an energetic open interior while also establishing a prominent landmark feature for the exterior. A reference to automotive design, the metal skin cladding of the building facades gives the building a streamlined appearance.

Vice President of Rolling Thunder Express, Michael Young was quoted on abc27 News online, saying, “there are many things that make this carwash stand out in comparison to others, such as its sustainable model, with 70% of the carwash water being reclaimed water, as well as eliminating harmful chemical runoff. [The carwash] is healthy for the car, there’s less water used, and it’s healthy for the environment.”
