Multiple Locations

Since 2019, the Beers + Hoffman team has lead the design process for all Members 1^st Federal Credit Union branches.  Seeking a refreshed architectural identity, our firm was tasked with creating a sophisticated new branch design for the Eisenhower Blvd. location that would appeal to new members without compromising any of the functionality of their former prototype. 

For this flagship branch, we established a design language composed of vertical masonry planes separating large spans of glass and the trademark “M1st Red” mono-pitch roof announcing the front entrance.  A cool color palette of grays and textural shadows was used to contrast the bold red accents. 

With a rapid expansion in the Lehigh Valley, our team helped the credit union open eight new branches, including six new builds and two renovations of former retail buildings.  Although each location presented unique site requirements and program components, we’ve created architectural elements that can be adapted for specific applications, while maintaining the standards of functionality and brand identity that Members 1^st requires.
