Lebanon Intermediate School Groundbreaking
Lebanon, PA – Beers + Hoffman was recently part of a groundbreaking celebration for the Lebanon School District’s new Intermediate School, housing the district’s fifth and sixth graders. The event featured addresses from the LSD board president and superintendent and Lebanon’s mayor.
As architects for the conversion of the former Middle School building, the team has worked for more than a year with LSD personnel in the renovation redesign of the 1930’s original high school building. Classroom redesign, changes to the gym and auditorium, an updated cafeteria and extensive upgrades to the heating, ventilating, air conditioning and plumbing systems are part of the interior changes. Important aspects of the project are major changes to access and parking on both the Eighth Street building entrance and student and bus access and parking to the stadium side of the building.
This third iteration of a great educational building brings yet another success in the District’s long range plan of providing advanced facilities for its student body.
