On the 85-acre “Ironmaster’s Estate” of the Cornwall Iron Furnace, the three-story Cornwall Manor Carriage House apartment building was constructed to attach to the existing Bradley Hall apartments. With 40,940 sf in total, the Carriage House contains 18 spacious apartments featuring balconies/patios and five floor plans ranging from 900 sf to 1,500 sf.

Working with the Cornwall Manor team, Beers + Hoffman successfully tied the buildings together while cloaking the Carriage House in the unique historic Cornwall Manor architectural vocabulary which the firm developed for many previous Cornwall Manor projects. The challenges of this project included a very tight site and significant grade changes, so the well designed connection to Bradley Hall was a key to the project’s success.
