Congratulations to Beers + Hoffman Architecture Principal Scott Shonk a CPBJ300 honoree!

Scott L. Shonk, AIA, LEED BD+C, has spent 32 years at Beers + Hoffman Architecture in Lancaster — longer than any full-time employee in the firm’s history.

Shonk leads key design projects, drives business development and oversees staffing and human resources, while maintaining the client relationships that generate 70% of the firm’s work.

He has expanded the firm’s church market and helped build its school market, and said listening to and respecting clients and colleagues is essential to how he leads.

What drives it all, he said, is the human moment at the end — “seeing the joy in people’s faces at their first service in a new worship space or the excitement of students on day one in their newly renovated school.”
