Bob Hoffman had the pleasure of working on the home and accounting office of Tom Siegel. Tom’s son, a youngster at the time of those projects, Daniel Siegel is now, along with his siblings, a partner in the accounting firm Stanilla, Siegel, & Maser LLC, and ready to begin a project of his own.

The Siegel family is as skilled in the world of farming as in the accounting profession. Bob was delighted when Daniel approached him about partnering in the design of a new country farmhouse on Siegel farmland.

The result is a stunning residence featuring lime stone repurposed from a former barn on the property. The beautiful stone was sawed into veneer thickness and applied to the walls of the main house. The design, complete with limestone quoins, reflects the farmhouse vernacular architecture of Lebanon County.

Daniel wanted to construct a working barn close to his house that would compliment the new farmhouse. The resulting structure does just that.
