Niko’s Restaurant
Lebanon, PA
Developer Bill Kolovani selected Beers + Hoffman to design an upscale restaurant on the top floor of a historic building that had previously been used for manufacturing. The upper floor had for years housed machinery resulting in general building fabric deterioration. Basic fire and panic circulation and other code requirements required of a public function were non existent. The collaboration on the restaurant conversion resulted in the creation of a popular, upscale, Lebanon destination. With a beautiful restaurant and bar design, a complete commercial kitchen, new elevator and code compliant pedestrian access, Niko’s became a favorite Lebanon meeting place. A beautiful 35 foot long antique bar was sourced and incorporated into the final design. Serving lunch, dinner and hosting local service clubs, the restaurant (now The Foundry) has become a vital part of Lebanon’s downtown revival.
